John is a registered patent attorney experienced in preparing and prosecuting patent application in a wide range of technical fields including computer hardware and software, networking, internet advertising, augmented/virtual reality, medical devices, and robotics.
Prior to joining KLS, John worked at a nationally recognized patent boutique firm headquartered in Chicago and more recently at a smaller patent boutique firm located in Utah. In his past work, John has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications and provided strategic advice and counsel to various corporations.
John received a J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, a B.S. in Physics from Westminster College of Utah, a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and an M.B.A. from the University of Utah. John also completed twenty-one credit hours of graduate coursework in Electrical Engineer at Arizona State University.
