Practice Areas & Background
Jeremy is a registered patent attorney with experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of technology areas including: mobile and network-side wireless devices and standards, GPS/location-based services, video encoding/decoding, lighting control systems, electrical connectors, motorized window treatments, and implantable medical devices.
Before joining KLS, Jeremy worked as a patent attorney in a couple of law firms, most recently as a partner in a large intellectual property boutique in Philadelphia. In both firms, he was responsible for preparing and prosecuting hundreds of patent applications and providing strategic advice and counsel to corporate executives, in-house counsel, and technology managers in various corporations.
Prior to pursuing a law degree, Jeremy worked for ten years as an engineer in various industries including as a mechanical engineer at a manufacturer of commercial door operators and then as a networking engineer at two major telecommunication and media corporations. As a network engineer, he led a group that implemented large scale projects including a build-out of a nationwide fiber optic communication network.
Jeremy received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University and his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law where he graduated cum laude.
